5. The Grateful Dead's Last show ~ it was in Chicago ~ I had a ticket but sold it because I was leaving for Europe the following day. Damn! I read about Jerry's death a month later while I was in France. Depressed.

I turned down a free "Dead" ticket for Rich Stadium in Buffalo. All I had to do is drive everyone there and they'd GIVE ME THE TICKET FREE. I wasn't quite into the Dead at that point in my life so I declined. A few years later I was kicking myself. It would've been fun to go for the fringe festival alone!
